Note: All sound files supplied by SafeLine are adapted for download in SafeLine Pro.
To fit the SafeLine products the files must be:
• Wave file
• Mono
• PCM
• 16 bits
• 16 KHz
To convert files, use free-ware such as Switch audio file converter. This software can convert from MP3 and various other formats. Files supplied by SafeLine are free to be used in SafeLine’s products. If using files from other sources, be aware not to infringe eventual copyrights. To download own sound files to SafeLine products, you need: • Computer • Programming cable • USB adapter (if the computer does not have RS232 serial port) • SafeLine Pro software (freeware at SafeLine Pro ) • SafeLine telephone or voice announcer where you want the sound to be played • Power-supply 12 VDC (can be SafeLine UP/BL range)
1. Record or pick up the sound file
2. If not possible to save in the right format (see above), use file converter software
3. Power the SafeLine telephone or voice announcer
4. Launch SafeLine pro and connect the Programming cable (do not forget to select the port on the settings tab)
5. Down-load the sound file into the SafeLine product (refer to user manual for respective product)
