As promised, the SL6 is out on the market since the end of 2011. Maybe one could expect some trouble here and some failure there, but not with the SL6. It simply works fine. 2 wires are exactly what the market demands.

Our team is engaged in many of the conferences and exhibitions of the branch. This means they produce a good number of presentations about many topics around lift emergency telephone systems.

The technical academy Heilbronn holds two conferences about lifts per year. The international English-speaking conference will take place in October, the German-speaking Aufzugstage are just over. The assembly of lift experts was the chance for our partner Bosch to hold a meeting on the eve of the conference.

SafeLine is not only technical. There are people involved with their emotions and feelings. To deliver this spirit to our customers, we have designed a image brochure presenting the people of SafeLine with their historical backgrounds. This brochure is available in the languages Swedish, English, German, Norwegian, Danish, French and Flamish either as print or as download from the webpage.

When SafeLine decided to open an office in Denmark an analysis quickly uncovered the special demands on the Danish market. For many years lift companies in Denmark have been using the TSA5100 emergency telephone from the Danish manufacturer Teletech.

The current regulations EN81-28 that covers the emergency alarm telephones, has been in place since 2003. It is time for revision fuelled by the pertinent comments of Adrian Shiner, who was the convenor of WG4 at the time of writing.

ELCA is the organisation of the European Lift Component Manufacturers. SafeLine has been nominated to a seat in the board. Not only does this give exclusive insights and business partners, but also puts SafeLine closer to the EU regulatory powers. We hope to able to participate in strengthening the voice of ELCA, which mainly represent the Small and Medium sized manufacturers.

The cooperation between our partner Servotel in Austria, specialised in alarm and call centre systems and our Dutch partner ELSECO has yielded a commercially valid result.

Since we opened SafeLine’s Danish office on September 1st we have had a very busy and interesting time.

During the four days of Interlift exhibition, we welcomed more than 3000 visitors in our 130 m2 booth.

Thanks to the diligent work of Sodimas, our French partner, the SafeLine sales in France has grown by 250% on annual basis.

Roger Wickman (40) was appointed CEO of Hisselektronik AB in Sweden, a company specified in supplying elevator parts, controllers and packages of components to the Scandinavian lift industry.
